NuevaLife es una organización sin fines de lucro creada para mejorar la calidad de vida de los niños pobres en Latino América. NuevaLife tuvo sus comienzos en el año 2007 con la ayuda y entusiasmo de algunos estudiantes de la Universidad de la Florida en E.E.U.U.
Los miembros de NuevaLife son gente joven que quieren brindarle a los niños mas necesitados la oportunidad de recibir una mejor educación y ayuda emocional brindando las cosas mas básicas. NuevaLife ha creado una importante travesía que se enfoca en crear una mejor interacción social y familiar en la vida de un niño.
Fundraiser for the Amazon - Event Recap
The Fundraiser for the amazon event started promptly at 5:30 at McCarthy's Ale House, the Cleveland weather was in our favor allowing our attendees to arrive for a night of fun. At the venue, our attendees gathered at NuevaLife's table, where we showcased some handcrafts made by the Amazon communities, such as necklaces and bracelets. We also shared information about our past projects in Peru and Colombia.
Along with the great music that DJ Jessee T. was playing, our attendees were taking advantage of the free drinks and the specials on the excellent food that the bar offers. Besides half of the proceeds from the ticket sale, McCarthy's also donated 50% of the sale of the jello-shots

NuevaLife current project seeks to help a community in need located in the Amazon basin of Peru (San Jose de Sarapanga), with 176 people in 36 homes. This community's main problem is the lack of drinking water, a critical element for human survival. For years, families in this community have been drinking water that they can find in a nearby river. This river has been contaminated by waste from oil and lumber companies and the lack of sewage systems.
The lack of safe water is affecting this community and communities around them, suffering from diseases such as: Anaemia, Cholera, Dengue and Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever, Hepatitis, Malaria, Malnutrition, among others.
NuevaLife se enorgullese de presentar su nuevo proyecto en el Amazonas. Nuestro objetivo principal es mejorar las condiciones de vida en estas comunidades al implementar actividades relacionadas con educacion, salud y conservación.
