Day 1

  • Arrival day – For those that arrive Saturday, we will go visit some communities close to Riohacha.
  • For those arriving Sunday, We will meet from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to socialize safety tips, team integration and get settlled @ Casa NuevaLife.
  • Buy food or ítems necessary for the stay

Day 2

  • Visit Rancheria Werrutka: We will interct with the community, and will start activities according to each team´s projects.

 Support the community since they lack agricultural skills and know how. Before the Trip make sure:

  • Total Trip Donation needs to be cancel at least 30 days in advance. We will not hold spots as we will have limited room for only 25 Volunteers.  Needs to be deposited, transferred to NuevaLife.org
  • Your Passport is up to date (valid for next 6 months)
  • Validate if your country needs Visa to visit COLOMBIA https://www.cancilleria.gov.co/tramites_servicios/visa/requisitos
  • Request Medical Insurance.
  • Sing and Send  the “Release and Waiver of Liability”
  • Let us know if you suffer any type of allergy or health affection before traveling.
  • Check luggage policy from your airline before traveling. NuevaLife wont pay for extra luggage.

Meals and Beverages

  • 3 meals will be provided to all registered volunteers (breakfast and dinner at casa NuevaLife, and lunch at community).
  • Menu can be arranged in advance to make sure volunteer preferences are taken into consideration.
  • Note: Most of the diet during those days will be vegetarian.

Riohacha can be accessed by land via Santa Marta or by air using Avianca or Viva Air (RCH airport code)
If arriving by air, most likely you will need to make a stop in Bogota.
Once you arrive to the airport take a taxi to Calle 20 # 13 – 26. Riohacha.
Let the adventure begin!
